Hi, I'm Alana.

I’m a specialty cut flower grower and floral designer in Baltimore, MD. Though originally from Baltimore County, it was in Boston where my love for flowers truly blossomed. After studying floral design online in 2018 and leading floral design workshops in Boston, I gave birth to an amazing little boy and found myself without the time or energy needed to teach.

Still, I continued to hone my craft by creating arrangements on a small scale and cultivating my own flowers in our small, city garden. Flowers were my escape; my me time.

Fast forward to 2020

My husband, 1-year-old son and I moved back to Baltimore (Roland Park, specifically) to be closer to family. It was in our new home in Baltimore that I started selling centerpieces and arrangements to friends, family and members of the community.

We were spending a lot of time at home (thanks COVID), so my husband, Eric, and I began transforming our yard into beds of flowers, vegetables and herbs, many of which you’ll see in my arrangements.

Local flowers? They’re kind of my thing

Through growing my own flowers, I've truly learned the importance and superiority of local flowers. It’s something I love talking about, and you’ll often find me spouting off local flower facts to anyone who will listen.

I’m excited to offer custom floral design services for weddings, events, holidays and the everyday to members of the Baltimore community. We’ve come so far in just 4 (!!) years and have expanded our business with the help of a high tunnel, lots and lots of work, and amazing support from our customers and partners.
